We got blood test results yesterday and all of his medication levels are within normal limits.
however, the nurse did not tell me if there was room to go UP on any of these medications if that's what needs to be done at any point.
I will have to find out when she calls me back (hopefully today)
Today she should call back to let me know what steps Dr Gallentine wants to take to find out of Phillip IS or is NOT having seizures involving his eyes. We discussed going in for a Video-EEG - which is more accurate than the ambulatory EEG he had back in December.
The down side to the V-EEG is it means a stay in the hospital for anywhere from 8 hours to days. Phillip will have to stay for at least 48 hours (most likely) because he has to be sedated to have EEG leads put on. Then he will have to stay long enough to let all of that medication wear off and for them to monitor for the possible seizure activity.
I will post again when I find out what the plan of action is,
The picture I added to this post is one of Phillip wearing his new hearing aid. He picked out the colors for his new mold - which fits TONS better than his last one, and his actual hearing aid was sent off for repair and apparently all the mechanics inside had to be take out and replaced.
I'm not sure what happened but I'm just glad it's fixed. He has been wearing it more when we leave the house than he has in the last year. :-)
Thank you, as always for your continued prayers and support. We are so thankful for you all!
Xoxo
Misty & Phillip, too!
