we had a very busy weekend - between it being Lindsey's birthday and Mothers Day. We didn't throw a big party or anything but had some family over for dinner on Saturday and Lindsey wanted to cook out. She got a few presents and was totally thrilled with them- Phillip was NOT. He wanted to help her open presents and she was not having it... i felt bad for both of them. For Lindsey because Phillip was getting more attention than her and Phillip for not getting to help.
I can't blame Lindsey though- its hard to have help with taking presents out of bags... she usually lets him help with wrapped presents but she didn't have any this year.
anyway after the family left it was a late bedtime for Phillip and he FINALLY slept all night for.the first time in days! Then Sunday it was a gathering for lunch for Mothers Day... Phillip missed out on that yummy meal since he wont eat KFC- but he didn't miss out on the company. He loves it when his Pops comes to visit and his Nana too!
He spent part of the day riding around the woods in the Razor with his Daddy and sisters and part of the day lounging by the pool- just soaking up sun- with his Mommy (me ;-) ) and the rest- relaxing in the house watching movies.
It was a good weekend! Now its time to get back to work for us all. Only about 18 days of school left... its bitter sweet this year. The end of elementary school. This makes me sad ... very sad. Phillip will be fine with the changes ... its ME I'm not so sure about. LOL.
Anyway- thanks for reading and as always please have him in your prayers for another seizure free day! *hugs* Misty
